These terms are shown in full inside the app the first time you open it, and you must agree to them before studying. This page is the same text, for reference.

1. For education, not clinical practice. These flashcards are a study aid meant to supplement your respiratory therapy coursework and exam prep. They are not a substitute for accredited RT education, clinical training, or supervision by a licensed instructor.
2. Not medical advice. Nothing in this app should be used to guide the care of an actual patient. Real clinical decisions should always follow your institution's protocols and the judgment of licensed healthcare professionals.
3. Accuracy isn't guaranteed. Care was taken in writing these questions and explanations, but clinical guidelines and exam blueprints change over time, and mistakes are possible. Cross-check anything exam-critical against current, authoritative sources.
4. Provided "as is," no warranties. The app and its content are provided as is, without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose — including preparing you for a specific exam or credential.
5. Limits on liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for exam results, errors in the content, or any other outcome connected to using this app. If any liability is found despite this, it's capped at the amount you paid for the app. Nothing here limits rights that consumer protection law in your country or state gives you and won't let us take away.
6. Personal use only. The question bank is licensed for your personal use. Copying, redistributing, or reselling the content without permission isn't allowed.
7. Independent product. Respiratory Study Buddy is an independent study tool and isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NBRC or any credentialing body.
